Executive Receptionist
An executive receptionist is someone who can act professional, represent a company, or individual, multitask and handle office equipment. He or she should be able to communicate with customers and other companies in order to schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries.
The executive receptionist works for the chief officers of the company so it is also his or her task to arrange travel and business meetings of the officials. Often times, the officials of the company also engage in executive meetings so it will be the task of the executive receptionist to arrange transportation reservations for the officers and their guests. The executive receptionist would also have to coordinate closely with the security and do secretarial duties along the way.
Generally, employers only require a high school diploma, but like other jobs, having a college degree is always a plus. To be hired as an executive receptionist, you should know basic computer skills.
The average salary range of a receptionist ranges from around $25,000 to $35,000. As an executive receptionist, you can expect to earn a higher wage, but this is dependent on location, need, and the size of company you are working for.
