Financial Center Manager

Working as a financial center manager means working in a bank and handling the financial trades and transactions made by customers and clients. It is their responsibility to offer services such as insurance, banking, securities, loans, hedge funds, mutual funds and other financial services in hopes of increasing business.

The manager’s job is to successfully lead their organization in accomplishing their objectives and the milestones as set by the Board of Directors or the owners of the bank. It is also their duty to make sure that all the guidelines set by the company are being followed by the employees.

In order to be hired as a financial center manager, you will need experience selling products and services. You will also want to have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business. Master’s degrees will open more opportunities, but is not a strict requirement by most institutions.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, financial center managers yield an average annual salary of $81,880. From Salary.com, bank branch managers, who have similar roles and responsibilities as financial center managers, can earn as much as $116,165 per year, dependent on location, experience and education.
