High School Course Suggestions
Accounting
Taking high school accounting wasn’t my idea of fun, but if you are going to get a degree in accounting, having the prerequisites is very important. High School accounting will teach you just enough that you aren’t confounded by the multitude of short forms you will have to memorize and information processing that you will have to do once you reach the work world.
Math
Accounting is nothing if not dependent on math, and so understanding the key concepts relating to accounting, money, taxes, and whatnot will stand you in good stead for the future. This is definitely a key skill, so don’t miss any classes.
