High School Course Suggestions
Art
Designing something wonderful to look at requires a high level of artistic skill and training. Understanding color theory, object placement, and really being able to break down the world around you into simple shapes are skills worth having when thinking about going into animation.
Math
Those animated characters don’t move themselves. Realistic water isn’t always directly manipulated by the animator. Understanding advanced math will allow you to do well in the animating world of today, where object collision and water physics are quickly becoming normal practice.
