Alaska Bible College

Alaska Bible College is located in Glennallen, on the fringes of the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the largest national park in the United States. The campus is about 4 hours from Anchorage and 5 hours from Fairbanks. A Bible-based education institution, the college believes in nurturing the spiritual life as well as the mind. It is, however, not associated with any denomination.

The college offers degree programs as well as certificate programs. There are four general programs:

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministries
• Associate of Arts Degree
• Bible and Ministry Certificate
• Bible Certificate

Under the bachelor’s degree program, students may choose a major focusing on pastoral studies, missions, or educational ministries. As of the present, Alaska Bible College offers campus-based classes only. No provisions for online programs or online classes are available.

The college has a very low student to faculty ratio – 7 to 1.

Room and board facilities are open to single students. The college has dormitories which are furnished with basic necessities. Students generally share a room and bathroom facilities. There are also a limited number of housing units available for those who have families.

Alaska Bible College has a reasonable tuition rate of $300 per credit hour and $150 per audit hour. Additional fees are applicable depending on specific circumstances. The admissions policy of the college requires that potential students peruse their Statement of Faith and Student Handbook before applying. The deadline for application for the first semester is July 1 and December 1 for the second semester.
