Midwestern University, Glendale

Midwestern University offers quality health care education through its two campuses, housing state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories. It was founded in 1900 as the American College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery by J. Martin Littlejohn, PhD. It is presently an independent, not-for-profit organization which seeks to provide graduate and postgraduate education in the health science.

Many degree programs are offered through the colleges comprising the Downers Grove, Illinois Campus and the Glendale, Arizona Campus. The 143-acre Glendale Campus is located at 19555 North 59th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona. It houses the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM), the College of Pharmacy-Glendale (CPG) and the College of Health Sciences Programs in Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Bioethics, Health Professions Education, Biomedical Science, Cardiovascular Science/Perfusion, Podiatric Medicine, Nurse Anesthesia and Clinical Psychology, as well as the College of Dental Medicine-Arizona and the Arizona College of Optometry.

Total number of enrollment for both campuses is more than 3,000. Tuition rates vary depending on the chosen program. The AZCOM and CPG programs offered at Glendale Campus cost $ 45,469.00 and $ 38,884.00 per year in tuition, respectively. Dental programs cost about $ 60,775.00 while Optometry programs cost about $ 27,500.00 per year. College of Health Sciences programs offered in Glendale Campus range from $ 19,851.00 to $ 29,160.00 per year. On-campus housing facilities are offered at both campuses.
