Calvary Bible College
Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary was formed in 1961 from the merger of the Kansas City Bible College and Midwest Bible College in St. Louis, Arkansas. When Citadel Bible College of Ozark, Arkansas joined Calvary, a second merger took place in 1987.
Academic programs offered in the 55-acre Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary include diplomas and certifications in traditional and non-tradition studies in Advanced Biblical Studies, Biblical Counseling, Children’s Ministry, Christian Ministry, Christian Elementary Teacher Education, Christian Secondary Teacher Education, Missions, Music-Church Music, Music Education, Music Performance and Pedagogy, Music and Youth Ministry, Pastoral Studies, and Youth Ministry.
Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary does offer several associate and bachelor degrees, including a bachelor degree completion program called Excel for older students. Students may also choose from Biblical Studies, Children’s Ministry, and Christian Education in the pursuit of an Associate degree. There are certificate and diploma programs that are available in the fields of Life Track and Evangelical Training. It has an undergraduate population of 313 in 2007 with a student-to-faculty ratio of 18:1. About 37% of the freshmen class in 2007 was male and women were 63% of the class.
