Central Baptist College

Central Baptist College is located in the in the middle of the state of Arkansas in the small city of Conway. Owned and operated by the Baptist Missionary Association of Arkansas, it is situated only thirty miles from Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas.

Central Baptist College confers degrees at the undergraduate degrees in behavioral sciences, biology, biotechnology, business, fine arts, health and physical education, health sciences, literature and language arts, math and science, missions, social studies and theology.

Through its continuing education program, employed professionals and workers students can earn an Associate of Arts degree in general studies or a Bachelor of Science in leadership, management information systems, organizational management, and ministry.

The college offers an online correspondence program for part-time students who are unable to take a full course load. It also offers a degree completion program which can be finished in less than two years by employees who want to finish their degree on a flexible time schedule.

Student enrollment as of March 2009 is 445 full-time and 114 part-time undergraduate students.

Tuition cost (per semester) for students enrolling in 1-4 hours is $205 per semester hour while tuition cost for students enrolling in 5 hours or more is $305 per semester hour. Required fees are $480 per semester. Other fees may apply for music, science, art, or athletic courses.

The cost of room and board is $2,750 per semester for women boarding in Bruce Hall and for men in Williams Hall. A limited number of private rooms are available in both dorms at an additional cost of $500 per semester. To help pay for their education, students at the college can participate in a work-study program.
