Harding University

Harding University is a private, four-year liberal arts Christian institution of higher education located in Searcy, Arkansas. Established in 1924, Harding is closely associated with the Churches of Christ and, as a Christian University, aims to help young men and women reach their full potential while remaining committed to their Christian ideals.

As an institution of higher education, Harding offers 10 undergraduate degrees in 90 academic majors, 13 pre-professional programs, and 12 graduate and professional degrees in its colleges of Arts and Humanities, Bible and Religion, Business Administration, Communication, Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Sciences.

There are approximately 6,510 students enrolled at Harding University at present coming from 48 states and 52 other countries. These students are guided in their search for high-quality education by 220 full-time faculty members, 62% of whom hold a doctorate or the highest degree possible in their chosen field.

Estimated cost of attendance at Harding University is US$18,820 per year for full-time undergraduate students and US$9,800 per year or US$520 per hour for graduate students. To help students in paying for their tuition and fees, Harding extends financial aid by way of loans, grants and scholarships to deserving students.

Learning to live as a community with one another is one lesson Harding aims to teach its students. Thus, on-campus housing is offered and encouraged. There are a variety of housing options available to students ranging from private rooms to apartment-style dwellings.

Although its main campus is located in Searcy, Arkansas, Harding University maintains four remote campuses within the country and international campuses in seven countries outside of the United States.
