John Brown University

John Brown University (JBU) is an inter-denominational Christian university that has been providing its educational programs since 1919 in Northwest Arkansas. Specifically located at 2000 W. University Street, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, JBU has a total present enrollment of over 2,000 students coming from 40 states and 45 countries. JBU admits students of any faith. It offers 47 undergraduate majors, 50 undergraduate minors and 7 graduate degree programs. Faculty members total 133. Student/faculty ratio is 13:1 while average class size is 20.

Associate degree programs include tracks in Construction Management, Electromechanical Technology, General Education, Journalism and Public Relations. Graduate degrees include MBA in Business Administration, MS in Leadership and Ethics, MS in Marriage and Family, MS in School Counseling, MS in Community Counseling, and MA in Youth and Family Ministries. Alternative academic opportunities are offered through the Honors Scholars Program and Professional Studies.
John Brown University maintains two associate centers: The Center for Relationship Enrichment which provides education and intervention in a Christ-centered manner; and the Soderquist Center for Leadership and Ethics which is mainly focused on developing ethical business leaders. Working adults are also provided additional opportunities to obtain a degree through the Distance Learning Program.

Annual tuition is $ 18,032.00 while general fees amount to $ 848.00. Room and Board is $ 6,876.00 per year. Part-time tuition is $ 680.00 per credit hour while graduate tuition per credit is $ 410.00. A tuition deposit of $ 200.00 is charged to all new applicants having tentative or final acceptance status.
