California National University
California National University, also known as the California National University for Advanced Studies, is a purely online university established in January 1993. It aims to cater to the needs of busy, working adults to further their knowledge on their fields of interest, or to learn other areas of study in accordance to the demands of the contemporary world. Included in the university’s online programs are one–on–one instruction classes from a university faculty and course documents that can be accessed at anytime, from anywhere.
Courses are taught within fifteen-week trimesters, and it is recommended that a student take two courses per trimester. There are four available undergraduate programs and four master’s programs under the following divisions: College of Quality and Engineering Management (Bachelor of Quality Assurance Science, Master of Engineering Management), College of Business Administration (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Master of Human Resources Management) and College of Engineering (Bachelor of Computer Science, Master of Science in Engineering). A certificate course in Human Resource Management is also available.
Students enrolling in California National University should expect to pay per unit hour: $270 per unit for undergraduate degree courses and $300 per unit for graduate students. These rates apply to US and Canadian citizens.
The rates for students of other nationalities are $300 for undergraduate, and $350 for graduate degree courses. Tuition fees may be paid for via any of the following schemes: in full, three payments divided throughout the trimester, or tuition deferment for students who are to receive tuition assistance.
