As a distance learning focused college, McKinley College is based out of Colorado and has been offering on line courses since 2005. Accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council, the College focuses on offering associates degrees in a variety of fields including health care, business management, social work, game design and computer science.
The school offers self-paced studies that allow you to select the courses that work best for you, and allows you to earn a degree in as little as 16 month. With a focus on career education, the College provides its own customized textbooks written by professional faculty members and works to provide students with a wide range of support during their coursework. The College also is well known for its Career Development Strategies course that helps students transition to the professional work force during their final semester at the school.
