Holy Apostles College and Seminary

Holy Apostles College and Seminary stands on a 40-acre property in Cromwell, Connecticut. Founded in 1956, the college aims to provide education and preparation for men intending to enter the priesthood and devote their life to the service of God.

Founded by Fr. Eusebe M. Menard, O.F.M., management of the college was entrusted to the Missionaries of the Holy Apostles. After 16 years of existence and in accordance with the directives of Vatican Council II, the college opened its doors to women and non-seminarians in line with its responsibilities to provide education to more Christian members of the community.

As a college, Holy Apostles grants Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in addition to a graduate program aimed at allowing students to earn Master of Divinity and Master of Arts degrees in theology-based majors.

To enable students who cannot attend regular classes to earn their Master of Arts degree in Theology or Philosophy, Holy Apostles maintains a Distance Learning program that allows them to do this via the Internet. Cost of tuition of online Distance Learning is US$870 per three-credit course.

For regular classes in academic year 2009-2010, the cost of tuition at Holy Apostles College and Seminary is US$4,680 for fulltime undergraduate commuter students and US$290 per credit for graduate students. Financial aid is available to students who express a need for it in paying for their cost of attendance. Assistance may come in the form of loans, grants and scholarships.

There are no facilities available for on-campus housing although the college is accessible to various areas suitable for residence.
