Carlos Albizu University
Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida is the sister institution of a school of the same name in San Juan, Puerto Rico. CAU Miami was established in 1980 for the purpose of providing graduate-level psychology programs focused on certain areas. It is a private institution located on an 18-acre campus, home to 1092 students as of 2007 and a low student to faculty ratio of 13:1.
The academic programs at Carlos Albizu University are oriented towards a few key majors. Both bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees are available in the areas of business administration, and a bachelor’s degree can be obtained in elementary education. Master’s degrees are available in the areas of exceptional student education and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). A master’s program is available in the area of industrial and organized psychology, and general psychology majors are available at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.

MSACHE is a regional accreditation agency serving the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
