Hodges University
Hodges University is a comprehensive, non-profit private university located in Naples, Florida. Founded in 1990 as International College, the school’s name was changed in May 2007 in honor of its benefactors Earl and Thelma Hodges.
Recognized as one of the premier private universities in Florida, Hodges is accredited to grant Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in a wide range of major studies. For its academic programs, it offers 12 associate degrees, 11 bachelor’s degrees, 8 graduate degrees, 17 online degrees, English as a Second Language, and lifelong learning classes at the Frances Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning. The university is divided into four distinguished schools: Kenneth Oscar Johnson School of Business, School of Allied Health, School of Professional Studies and School of Technology.
Apart from its main campus in Naples, it also maintains another campus in Ft. Myers, and several learning centers across Florida. By providing varied methods of delivering education to its students, the university is assured that anyone who wants to pursue higher education is able to do so.
Although Hodges University already claims to charge the lowest tuition among all private universities in Florida, this cost can still go lower depending on the financial aid availed of by the student. Cost of tuition at Hodges for all credit hour courses is US$460 per credit hour for undergraduate students; US$615 per credit hour for graduate students and US$2,775 per 15 week term for students enrolled in the Intensive English course. These costs only apply to tuition. Additional fees may be charged as well as other costs for books and supplies. As mentioned, the university extends financial aid by way of loans, grants, and scholarships to qualified students.
On campus housing is not available at Hodges University.
