Lynn College

Lynn College was founded in 1962 in Boca Raton, Florida. It is a private university offering both graduate and undergraduate degrees. It is located on an aesthetically pleasing, 123-acre campus complete with its own lakes. The college is home to just over 2,000 undergraduate students plus just under 400 graduate students. The student to faculty ratio is 16:1.

Academic programs at Lynn College provide bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. There are twenty-three bachelor’s degrees available for traditional undergraduate students, plus four degrees for evening undergraduates. Some examples of programs would be American studies, film, international relations, music and criminal justice psychology (the latter two available to evening students, as are business administration and education). Master’s degrees can be obtained in administration, applied psychology, business administration, communication and media, three areas of education and performance, though there are many, many different majors to be pursued within all of the degrees listed. A single Educational Doctorate of Practice is offered through a 3-year program.

Lynn College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), a regional accreditation agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. SACS provides accreditation to institutions within an eleven-state area, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
