Warner University

Warner University was founded in 1968 as a private religious institution centered on the liberal arts in Lake Wales, Florida. It is affiliated with the Church of God, a religious order of the Wesleyan tradition. Today, Warner University is seated on a 370-acre campus, where around 1,000 students study at a student to faculty ratio of approximately 13:1.

Academic programs at Warner University are based primarily at the undergraduate level, with a selection of graduate programs available as well. Two associate’s degrees are available to students: one in church ministry and the other in general studies, which can be also studied for bachelor’s degrees. Just over two dozen separate bachelor’s degrees can be obtained – five in business-related fields, eight in education-oriented subjects, but also in transformational Christian ministry, communication, English, media writing, music ministry, biology, exercise science, sports management, history, psychology, social work and organizational management. Master’s degrees are provided for three different majors: business administration, education and science.

Warner University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), a regional accreditation agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. SACS provides accreditation to institutions within an eleven-state area, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
