Georgia State University

Situated in urban Atlanta, Georgia State University is part of the GU system and has over 20,000 undergraduate students and more than 7,500 professional students. Founded in 1913 as a public school, Georgia State originated as a business school and retains these roots while branching out to have a broader set of academic offerings from its Andrew Young School of Policy to a dedicated College of Education, as well as schools of Law and Health.

The J. Mack Robinson Business School is well regarded, and remains the school’s primary academic program, with an impressive bachelor’s and MBA program. The school also has an active arts and culture scene including the Urbanite weekly student paper, a dedicated GSTV television station and a WRAS radio station, along with the New South literary magazine and the Rialto Performing Arts Center, which hosts film festivals, jazz performances as well as dance venues in collaboration with the Digital Arts Entertainment Laboratory and the local Atlanta community.
