Kennesaw State University

Kennesaw State University was founded in 1963 in Kennesaw, Georgia. It is a public four-year institution and is the third-largest school in the University System of Georgia. It is seated on a 384-acre campus, and it is currently home to a student body of over 22,000 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels hailing from all around the world. The student to faculty ratio is 22:1.

Academic programs at Kennesaw State University provide students with bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and doctorates. These are obtained through courses offered from eight different colleges within the University, covering the areas of the arts, science & mathematics, business, education, health & human services, the humanities & social sciences, plus the University College and Graduate College. There are two doctoral programs available to students in total, in the areas of education in leadership for learning and business administration respectively, in addition to well over a dozen different master’s degrees. A United States Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program is maintained at KSU.

Kennesaw State University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), a regional accreditation agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. SACS provides accreditation to institutions within an eleven-state area, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
