Life University
Life University, located in Marietta, Georgia, is the largest chiropractic school in the world. It was founded in 1974 as Life Chiropractic College by Dr. Sid Williams and, to this day, enjoys a long history of national recognition for its innovative chiropractic program and excellent undergraduate and graduate education. It also offers superior-quality undergraduate and graduate programs in such fields as biology, biopsychology, business administration, computer information management, dietetics, life coaching, nutrition, psychology, and sports health science.
The university has three distinct colleges; namely, The College of Chiropractic, The College of Graduate Studies, and The College of Undergraduate Studies. Through these colleges, students are able to choose a program through which they can pursue a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, Associate in Science, and doctorate degrees.
Cost of attendance for fulltime undergraduate students is US$29,427 for three quarters broken down into tuition and fees of US$8,352, room and board of US$12,480, books and supplies of US$1,650, loan fees of US$45, transportation fees of US$3,900 and personal expenses of US$3,000.
Those living off campus pay only US$19,647 per three quarters with the only difference in cost being the amount charged for room and board which is only US$2,700. For graduate students living on campus, cost of attendance is US$28,743 while for students living off campus, it’s US$18,963. For students pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree, the cost of attendance is US$42,417 for students on campus and US$32,637 for those living off campus. To help students with their cost of attendance, financial aid is extended in the form of loans, grants and scholarships.
