Argosy University is one of the biggest educational institutions in the country with respect to the number of campuses. It has a total of 19 campuses in 12 states, including Washington, D.C. Argosy University was founded in September of 2001 as a result of the merging of three other institutions, namely, the American School of Professional Psychology, the University of Sarasota, and the Medical Institute of Minnesota. It is a for-profit educational institution offering a wide range of degree programs.

Argosy University Chicago can be found at 350 North Orleans St. in Chicago, Illinois. It has five different colleges. These are as follows:

3. College of Business
4. College of Health Sciences
5. College of Undergraduate Studies

These colleges offer various degree programs and majors. Many of the classes are offered on site, while those who need more flexibility may opt to take blended programs (mixture of online and classroom classes).

There are currently a little over 1,000 students enrolled at Argosy University Chicago. The student to faculty ratio is 28 to 1, small enough to ensure personalized learning and large enough to offer diversity. There are no housing facilities at Argosy University Chicago, so students have to find room and board in the outlying areas.

The cost of study at Argosy University Chicago varies depending on the specific program. The tuition for undergraduate programs is $510 per credit hour. The tuition for graduate programs ranges from $650 to $870 per credit hour. Clinical Psychology programs cost more at $998 per credit hour.
