About Baker College

With a focuses as a career institutions, Baker College has offered forward-looking courses since its foundation in 1911 across over 100 degree programs. Offering degrees ranging from certifications to associates, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral accreditations, the College focuses upon business, technology, and design courses. Its special admissions policy allows non standard students to begin studies on a probationary status, offering many students an opportunity for a degree who otherwise might not have the chance.

Originating as Baker Business University, the College today focuses on technology and business programs with 12 physical campuses as well as a growing online distance college. Today, over 20,000 students are enrolled across more than 140 degree options, including an International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education MBA program. The many campuses throughout Michigan offer students the opportunity to enroll in classes through both the distance college and in person, offering a superior option for regional students. With a focus on online business education, Baker has a strong foundation in technology course offerings.
