Lake Forest Graduate School of Management
Lake Forest Graduate School of Management or LFGSM is an independent, not-for-profit business school with its main campus located in Lake Forest, Illinois. Founded in 1946, it has satellite campuses in Schaumburg, Illinois and Chicago.
As a business school, LFGSM’s mission is to develop effective business leaders through the application of skills and knowledge advanced by its Chcago MBA program and its Lake Forest Corporate Education business leadership development programs. A pioneer of the practical business education model, LFGSM was itself established through the collaboration of leading Chicago area businesses. Today, it has strengthened its ties with the business community through affiliations with such industry leaders as Abbott Laboratories, Ace Hardware Corporation, Allstate Insurance Company, Brunswick Corporation, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Grainger, Hospira, HSBC, Komatsu America Corporation, Kraft Foods Inc., Motorola, Inc., and many others.
At LFGSM, students will be taught to be more effective problem-solvers of the various aspects of a business. A combination of real world experiences and classroom instructions will be the springboard through which major concepts will be imparted.
For academic year 2009-2010, cost of tuition at LFGSM is US$2,795 per full course unit and US$1,397.50 per half course unit. These costs refer only to tuition and not to the other mandatory fees which will also be charged but the cost of which will be determined by the students academic level. To help students with the costs, financial aid in the form of loans, grants and scholarships to qualified students will be extended.
