Lakeview College of Nursing

Lakeview College of Nursing is a private, co-educational, specialized, single-purpose institution of higher learning located in Danville, Illinois with a branch campus at Charleston, also in Illinois.

In the business of training nurses for over a hundred years now, Lakeview College was established in 1894 as the Danville Training School which was later renamed Lakeview College of Nursing in 1984. Aside from Nursing, the college is also known and respected for its comprehensive courses in Chemistry and Statistics.

Because of its non-participation in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information Exchange System, Lakeview College cannot accept international students. Only individuals who reside permanently in the U.S. or who are U.S. citizens can apply for admission.

Cost of tuition at Lakeview College of Nursing is US$340 per credit hour regardless of residence. This totals to approximately US$5,440 per semester based on a load of 16 credit hours. Cost of fees for both campuses of Lakeview regardless of course is US$60 per credit hour or approximatelyUS$960 for a load of 16 credit hours. Other fees include a proficiency exam fee of US100 per course, lab equipment fee of US$50 per course and Student Health insurance fee of US$109.95. Other costs that students need to earmark funds for are books and supplies as well as uniforms and other materials for lab use.

To help students in paying for their cost of tuition and fees, financial aid is extended to students in the form of loans, grants and scholarships for qualified students.

There are no on-campus housing facilities available at Lakeview College of Nursing.
