Midwestern University, Downers Grove

Midwestern University offers quality health care education through its two campuses, housing state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories. It was founded in 1900 as the American College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery by J. Martin Littlejohn, PhD. It is presently an independent, not-for-profit organization which seeks to provide graduate and postgraduate education in the health science.

Many degree programs are offered through the colleges comprising the Downers Grove, Illinois Campus and the Glendale, Arizona Campus. The 105-acre Downers Grove Campus which is located at 555 31st Street, Downers Grove, Illinois, houses the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM), the Chicago College of Pharmacy (CCP) and the various programs of the College of Health Sciences including Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Biomedical Science, Clinical Psychology and Health Science Doctorate.

Total number of enrollment for both campuses is more than 3,000. Tuition rates vary depending on the chosen program. CCOM and CCP programs taken at Downers Grove Campus cost about $ 46,875.00 and $ 29,835.00 per year, respectively. Programs of the College of Health Sciences range from $ 23,347.00 to $ 31,907.00 per year in tuition.
