Ball State University

Established in 1918 as a public research university, Ball State University has over 20,000 currently enrolled students, the majority of whom are undergraduates. With an expansive campus in Muncie, Indiana, the school has expanded in recent years with well known programs in design, business, health and communications.

Among the school’s highly ranked programs are its undergraduate business program, which offers a major in entrepreneurship, its landscape architecture program which is well known and its Music Technology major which has pioneered advances in fine arts. Working with the local community the Urban Planning program allows students to work directly on historic preservation projects.

The school is organized around major colleges including the Miller College of Business, a Teachers College, a College of Sciences and Humanities, a College of Communication, as well as Colleges of Fine Arts, Architecture and Applied Science. Fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, Ball State has well regarded academic programs and competitive Division I NCAA sports teams.
