Located in Bloomington, Indiana University is a large, public research institution with nearly 40,000 students and an impressive array of research grants.
With several programs that rank among the top in the country, Indiana also boasts a highly successful NCAA sports program including its well regarded Basketball teams. Known for its unique Bloomington campus, the school has several dedicated libraries and museums which serve researchers, students and the larger community, including the Lee Norvelle Theater, The Lilly Rare Book Library and the school’s modern art museum.

In particular, the Kelley School of Business has highly ranked programs for undergraduates and Masters of Business Administration students, while its School of Journalism has a long tradition of innovation in the field and its Law School has an excellent placement rate. Opened in 1999, the School of Informatics has pioneered advances in computer interaction, allowing students to explore uses of technology in business, science and the arts.
