Manhattan Christian College
Manhattan Christian College (MCC) was founded in 1927 as the Christian Workers University. It operated as a four-year undergraduate institution of higher learning, but changed its name in 1930 to Manhattan Bible College. It finally adapted its present name in 1971.
Manhattan Christian College is located at 1415 Anderson Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas. It is at the center of the city in the community of Kaw Valley and Flint Hills. Its proximity to Kansas State University (KSU) opens up exceptional educational opportunities for its students.
The academic offering of Manhattan Christian College is comprised of single and dual degrees as well as adult degree completion programs. Programs offered lead to the degree of Bachelor of Arts or Science in Pastoral Ministry, Educational Ministry, Family Ministry, Cross-Cultural Ministry, Worship Ministry, Youth Ministry and Bible. Adult learners intending to complete a college degree whether for personal or career enhancement can enroll in degree completion programs offered by the Leadership Education for Adult Development (LEAD). The Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Leadership as well as Management and Ethics are offered online. The dual-degree programs are taken in conjunction with KSU programs such as accounting, computer science, marketing, and many others. Also offered is the one-year certificate course in Biblical Literature.
Tuition rate for full-time study with 12 to 18 credits costs $ 11,478.00 per year. Credits below 12 or over 18 cost $ 471.00 per credit hour. Distance education courses cost $ 321.00 per credit. Meal plans for 15-meal per week cost $ 3, 528.00 per semester. All incoming students are required to submit an application, two references. High school transcript and either the ACT or SAT scores. Manhattan Christian College requires freshmen and sophomores to avail of residence halls while the upper classmen and transfer students can make use of other housing options consisting of houses and apartments on campus.
