Centenary College of Louisiana
Centenary College of Louisiana was founded in 1825 by the state as the College of Louisiana and is considered as the 43rd oldest chartered liberal arts college among thousands of colleges and universities in the United States.
Today, Centenary College of Louisiana operates as a four-year arts and sciences college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Centenary employs 70 full-time faculty members more than ninety percent of whom hold a Ph.D. or a terminal degree to teach more than 900 undergarduate and graduate students. With an average class size of 16, its faculty to student ratio is 12:1.
