Maryland Institute, College of Art (MICA) is a well-equipped facility that has been established for the purpose of providing education, experiences, and resources required by artists and designers. It is backed by a long history of continuous degree-granting periods in the field of art as it was founded as early as 1826. It is located at 1300 W. Mount Royal Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland.

MICA focuses on the delivery of its programs leading to the degrees in Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Arts, Master of Fine Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching and the Post-baccalaureate certificate. Also offered are continuing education programs and certificate programs. These programs are designed for working artists and designers as well as other individuals who stand to benefit from having professional-level instruction in art and design. MICA has recently manifested its role in the development of research in art and design.
