Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

Offering innovative programs in the health care field, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) offers its graduates career paths in Chemistry, Dental Hygiene, Health Psychology, Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics, Pre-Med and Health Studies as well as Radiology and Imaging. MCPHS is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. Specific programs have additional accreditation from corresponding organizations or agencies.

MCPHS has three campuses including its main campus in Boston and two other sites in Worcester and Manchester. The students’ educational horizons are widened through the college’s participation in an academic consortium with the Colleges of the Fenway, the Colleges of the Worcester Consortium and the Manchester Area Colleges. The college is also affiliated with numerous qualified clinical sites in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Greater New England plus other locations throughout the US which provide critical student learning experiences in different clinical settings

MCPHS’ Office of Continuing Education also provides programs in various health sciences disciplines including nursing, physician assistant, dental hygiene and radiological sciences. These programs aim to facilitate dispersion and adoption of advances in medicine and pharmaceutical care. This is in line with MCPHS’purpose of identifying and fulfilling the educational needs of pharmacists and health care workers that will lead to improved quality of patient care.

Forming an essential part in Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ existence as an educational institution is its Community Service Program which extends to all its campuses and their respective communities. Emphasis is given on service learning which combines academic study with meaningful community service. A flat tuition rate is charged to students enrolled in 12 to 18 credits
