Massachusetts School of Law (MSLAW) was founded in 1988 primarily to provide affordable legal education and extensive training in the practical professional skills required by practicing lawyers. It has been actively promoting reforms in legal education as reflected in its curriculum and practices. MSLAW is located at 500 Federal Street, Andover, Massachusetts.
The campus location is less than 30 minutes away from Boston. MSLAW is within a remarkable 130-acre wooded site called the Woodland Park. The park is situated directly off the River Road Exit on Interstate Route 93. School facilities include an open and spacious library bordered by faculty offices to maximize interaction between faculty and students. Other facilities are the Computer Center, the Student Lounge, the Bookstore, Admissions Office, Administrative Offices, Career Services, and the Student Bar Association Offices which are all located on the first floor. Classrooms are located on the second floor. Ample parking space is provided adjacent to the facility. Massachusetts School of Law is fully accessible to physically impaired individuals.
MSLAW is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and approved by the Massachusetts Board of Regents to grant the degree of Juris Doctor. Academic programs offered include a three year, full-time program of study and a four-year, part-time program. Full-time students are required to take fifteen credits per semester while part-time students take eleven to twelve credits per semester. Flexible schedules are available through day and evening classes as well as summer sessions that allow students to accelerate their chosen program. Six areas of concentrations are offered including Litigation, Criminal Law, Family Law, Real Estate, Labor Law, and Business and Corporate Law, although students are not required to take them. Annual tuition for full-time students amounts to $ 14,490.00 while part-time students are charged $ 11,592.00
