Baker College
With 98% of its available graduates currently and gainfully employed, Baker College is understandably confident of its capabilities in producing results. It is particularly proud of its unsurpassed focused approach to education and training that ensures its students of rewarding careers after college. A product of a merger between two distinct institutions of higher education in 1965, the union gave birth to the so-called Baker College System which now benefits at least 35,000 students enrolled in 150 programs including on-ground and online campuses. One of these two institutions was the original Baker College founded in 1911 in Michigan. The Baker College of today has 14 campuses throughout the state.
The college’s existing programs have been guided by recommendations of real and actual employers thus each and every program is associated with the high-demand fields of Business, Education, Technology, Office Administration, Human Service and Computer. The program courses offered by Baker College include certificate, associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees inclusive of those covered by the Baker College Online and the Center for Graduate Studies. What the college is offering is very much in keeping with its “career ready” approach.
Most undergraduate courses cost $ 195.00 per quarter hour of credit while the Center for Graduate Studies would cost $ 470.00 per quarter hour of credit. Specific amounts for various mandatory fees range from $ 20.00 to $ 75.00. Room rates for the college’s three residential campuses range from $ 750.00/person/quarter to $ 955.00/person/quarter.
