Grace Bible College

Grace Bible College is a private, undergraduate Christian college located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Its mission is to produce graduates “that are prepared to serve Christ in Church and in society.”

Historically, Grace Bible College traces its roots to the Milwaukee Bible Institute which, in 1939, created a program to train laymen and Sunday School teachers of Milwaukee. Six years later, in 1945, a regular day school program was created. In 1961, the Bible Institute, which was already known as the Milwaukee Bible College, moved to suburban Grand Rapids in Michigan and was finally renamed Grace Bible College.

Today, the college continues to pursue its mission to provide students with education that is Christ-centered. It offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs centered on the three vital components of general education courses, biblical and theological studies, and a vocational major.

Cost of attendance at Grace Bible College is US$10,385 per semester for freshman students. This cost includes tuition at US$6,700; mandatory fees of US$260; meal costs of US$1,850, and residency cost of US$1,575. This does not include fees for books and health insurance. Financial assistance is extended by the college to its students by way of loans, grants and scholarships for deserving students.

All single freshman and sophomore students of Grace Bible College who are not living with their parents or with immediate family members are required to live in residential halls on campus. Junior students aged 20 and above may be allowed to stay in an apartment-style residence. Only seniors and those aged 21 years and above are allowed to live off-campus. Exceptions to this policy are only permitted in special cases and after an appeal is made at the college’s Community Life Department.
