Baptist Bible College, Missouri

On a 38-acre suburban location in Springfield, Missouri, stands a conservative bible college at the intersection of Summit and Kearney Roads. The Baptist Bible College was founded in 1950 after a meeting held in Fort Worth involving Baptist ministers. Through their efforts, a former city park was converted into the college campus and dormitories. It is a college affiliated and owned by the Baptist Bible Fellowship International.

Baptist Bible College offers master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, associate and professional certificates primarily related to ministerial and educational studies. Guided by its motto – “Enter to learn, go forth to serve.” it trains students to serve as Pastors, missionaries and Christian leaders. It is an institution of higher learning that offers a distinctive biblical and historic Baptist curriculum.

The core curriculum requires all students to take the Bible/Theology courses. The Bachelor of Arts degree offers majors in Pastoral Studies, Church Education, Children’s Ministries, Office Administration, Business Management, Intercultural Studies, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Church Music and Music Education. At least 12 hours of the same language or 6 hours of a language plus 6 hours of linguistics are required to obtain a bachelor’s degree. The Graduate School aims to prepare graduates for the various positions in a ministry including that of a pastor, missionary, pastoral counselor, church staff and lay leader.

Undergraduate tuition costs about $ 6800.00 per semester for 12-18 hour credits. Credit hours below or above such range cost $ 206.00 per credit hour. Graduate
School tuition is $ 220.00 per credit hour. Campus housing is estimated to cost $ 2700.00 per semester for room and board, single occupancy.
