Washington University is located in Greater St. Louis, Missouri. This private research school was established in 1853. Named for George Washington, the school is known for its achievements in research.

Admission Requirements
To be considered for Early Admission to Washington University, the deadline is 15 and decision letters are mailed out in mid-December. For applicants on the Regular Decision track, your materials must be submitted by January 15 and the University mails out decision letters by April 1.
Washington University will consider Common Applications or Universal College Applications. You will also need to submit your transcripts, a midyear report, and one teacher evaluation. Prospective students at the College of Art may submit a portfolio of their work if they wish.
Tuition and Room and Board
If you want to go to Washington University, you will be paying $36,200 for tuition, along with $362 for a student activity fee and a student health fee of $686. On-campus housing (double occupancy) will cost between $7,360 and $8,140, depending on whether you choose new accommodation or not. A full meal plan will add another $4,276 to the bill.
Sports at Washington University, St. Louis
Washington University is home to the Bears. Teams compete in NCAA Division III, as well as the University Athletic Association. They have won 15 Division III championships for tennis (men), basketball (men’s and women’s teams), and volleyball (women)The men’s roller hockey team has participated in the NCRHA national tournament each year from 2005-2008.
