Carroll College is a Catholic coeducational college offering 4-year undergraduate liberal arts and pre-professional majors and minors in which it is nationally recognized for its biology, civil engineering, nursing, and mathematics programs. It’s total enrollment is more than 1,400 coming from many states and from over 10 foreign countries. Faculty to student ratio is 14:1 Located in the city of Helena, Montana, its campus is only a few minutes drive to Mount Helena which is surrounded by millions of acres of lush forest.

Its nine pre-professional programs include Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Physician’s Assistant and Veterinary Medicine.
It also offers eleven additional minors and course offerings ranging from Anthropology, Arts, Management Economics & Administration, Dance, Human Animal Bond, to Latin American Studies, Music, Physics, Special Education, Television Production and Visual Arts.
Carroll College offers a unique engineering degree called 3-2 Engineering program which allows Carroll math majors to attend the college for three years then finish their studies in one of seven affliliated engineering schools (Columbia University, Gonzaga University, Montana State University, Montana Tech, Notre Dame, University of Southern California and University of Minnesota) for two years of study thereby earning them two bachelor’s degree, one from Carroll and the other from the affiliated engineering school.
Total cost for tuition, fees and other charges for 2009-2010 amount to $30,412 broken down as follows: full time tuition $22,044; $7,188 for room & board (double occupancy and continuous board); $380 for mandatory fees; and $800 for books (average expense). Average financial aid which a student can receive amounts to over $16,000. Most of Carroll College graduates find immediate employment or continue on to graduate schools for advanced studies.
