About Grantham University
Founded as the Grantham Radio License School in 1951, the School first offered Federal Communications Commission certificates to returning war veterans seeking to transition into the workforce. Expanding its profile, the school became the Grantham School of Electronics, and opened a satellite campus in Kansas City in recent years. Located in the Zona Rosa suburb, the school enrolls just under 10,000 total students between its undergraduate and graduate programs, which are accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council, as well as the American Council on Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Known for its distance learning programs, the school offers a wide variety of programs ranging from Business Administration to Criminal Justice to Engineering, General Studies and Management. Best known for its colleges of Engineering and Business, the school specializes in technical business education.
