Doane College
Doane College has been in the business of educating bright, ambitious and talented young people in the liberal arts for over 130 years now. Founded in 1872, Doane College was Nebraska’s first liberal arts and sciences college and the first in the United States to offer undergraduate students a four-year guarantee.
It is the mission of the college to produce graduates that are not only equipped to deal with the demands of the ever-changing 21st century workplace but who are also service-oriented enough to want to be able to contribute something to the community they live in.
The comprehensive liberal arts education provided by the college integrated with the real-life experiences of the students that the college always tries to bring into classroom learning will help the students to deal with the challenges of their future careers.
Academically, the college offers a comprehensive four-year liberal arts and science course with over 40 majors to choose from, seven pre-professional programs and 24 undergraduate minors.
