Franklin Pierce University

Franklin Pierce University is a small, private, four-year liberal arts university established in 1962. Its mission is to craft an education that is suited to each individual student – his wants, his talents – that will allow him to achieve his goals whether he aspires to serve as a leader in the community or in the world.

With its main undergraduate campus located in Rindge, New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce University also manages Graduate & Professional Studies centers in Concord, Keene, Lebanon, Manchester, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire and offers a huge chunk of its programs online for students who may not have the time to attend the regular day classes.

At the Rindge campus, students have access to a comprehensive undergraduate program founded on a strong liberal arts core with a broad choice of majors from Anthropology to Theater and Dance. The College of Graduate & Professional Studies, for its part, grants Master’s Degrees and Doctoral degrees as well as Graduate certificates in a wide range of high-demand fields that will help students meet the demands of the 21st century workplace. These include courses in business administration, education, and information technology. Pre-professional degrees in Medicine, Law, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine are also offered.

Currently, there are 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at the university combined. With a 16 to 1 student to faculty ratio and average class size of 16, students enjoy the dual advantage of an intimate environment offered by a small college with the vast opportunities available at a big university.

Cost of admission for academic year 2009-2010 for undergraduate students at the Rindge campus is US$38,500 including room and board. Financial Aid is available to students who may want to apply.
