Briarcliffe College is an institution of higher learning that has been offering career-focused programs since 1966. Authorized to offer Diploma, Associate’s degree and Bachelor’s degree programs, Briarcliffe College opens its programs to both traditional and non-traditional students. Its main campus is located in Bethpage, New York while its two other campuses can be found in Patchogue and Queens. Briarcliffe was established for the purpose of meeting the higher education needs of the residents of Long Island, New York.
Briarcliffe’s Flexible Learning Option provides the opportunity for general education online classes. This option is readily appreciated by non-traditional students who have the added responsibility of family or work. All students enrolled in regular degree programs, whether full-time or part-time are eligible to participate depending on availability.
Average tuition and fees for undergraduates including in-district, in-state and out-of-state students is $ 14,592.00 and $ 800.00 respectively. The charge per credit hour for part-time undergraduates is $ 608.00. Educational programs offered are in the fields of Business Management, Computer Science and Engineering, Design, Media, Medical Administration, Photography and Commercial Art and Security/Law Enforcement. There are variations however in the actual courses offered by each campus. Briarcliffe College is owned by Career Education Corporation which also owns other career schools in other parts of the US as well as in other countries. A welcoming learning environment is provided by Briarcliffe through its small class sizes to allow students to maximize their individual potentials while allowing faculty members who are all working professionals to provide more individualized attention to them.
