Ithaca College

Founded as a music conservatory in 1892, Ithaca College has grown into a comprehensive, residential college offering liberal arts education and professional preparation. Its original location was in downtown Ithaca and transferred to its present location in the 1960s on South Hill overlooking the Cayuga Lake. Ithaca is a city in New York State’s Finger Lakes Region. Its official address is 953 Danby Road, Ithaca, New York.

More than 100 bachelor’s degree programs are offered through the college’s School of Business, School of Communications, School of Humanities and Sciences, School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, School of Interdisciplinary and International Studies, School of Music, School of Continuing Education, Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies and the International Programs Extramural Exchange. There are about 6,894 students presently enrolled in Ithaca College including undergraduate and graduate students. Full-time faculty is comprised of 461 members while part-time faculty members number at 241. A total of 962 administrative and staff employees are maintained by Ithaca College. Student/faculty ratio is 12:1.

Full-time undergraduate students are charged $ 32,060.00 per year for tuition and fees. Part-time undergraduates are charged $ 1,067.00 per credit hour. Graduate programs range from $ 552.00 to $ 711.00 per credit hour. On-campus room and board costs approximately $ 11,780.00 per year. Online Professional Certificate Programs are also offered by Ithaca College to address the needs of professional development and demands of the workplace.

There are 52 residence halls serving the on-campus residential requirements of students. Special options are provided by specific facilities reserved for freshmen and honor students as well as special interest areas such as multiculturalism, outdoor recreation and sustainability. Some residence halls offer expanded quiet hours.
