Keuka College
Keuka College is an independent, private liberal arts college located on Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Founded in 1890, it provides career and pre-professional education. The mission of Keuka is to make available to its students a unique combination of traditional classroom and experiential learning that will serve them well when they seek employment in the demanding 21st century workplace.
Academically, Keuka College grants its students Bachelor of Arts degrees in over 33 majors as well as Master’s degrees in four areas of specialization; namely, Childhood Education, Occupational Therapy, Management, and Criminal Justice Administration. It also offers pre-professional programs in Dentistry, Law, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. Aside from its main campus in the United States, Keuka College also has four campuses in the People’s Republic of China where degree programs are also offered.
Currently, there are around 1,676 students enrolled at Keuka College guided by 68 fulltime faculty members. With the student to faculty ratio at 14 to 1, students are assured that their teachers will have the time and focus to help them in their quest for higher education.
For academic year 2009-2010, cost of tuition and fees for students living on campus is US$31,840 broken down into tuition of US$22,040, mandatory fees of US$640 (plus an additional US$200 for new and transferring students), and room and board at US$9,160. Those living off-campus or with their parents are charged tuition and fees of US$22,360 broken down into tuition of US$22,040 and mandatory fees of US$320 (plus an additional US$200 for new and transferring students),
To help students pay for their cost of tuition, the college extends financial aid in the form of loans, grants and scholarships to qualified students.
