Manhattan College
Manhattan College is a modern school that dates back to the year 1853 when four Christian brothers from France established what is to be the foundation of La Salle Academy. It offers its educational programs under the legacy of the patron saint of teachers – St. John Baptist De La Salle. This legacy represents excellence in education, dignity of the human person and service to fellowmen. From the school’s original location in Manhattanville, it moved to Riverdale where 20 acres of property was bought to put up the school facility. Its suburb location is very near New York City.
Students get to choose from a long list of graduate and undergraduate programs offered by Manhattan College through its School of Arts, School of Business, School of Education, School of Engineering and School of Science. The Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Organizational Management is offered through the Adult Degree Completion Program. This highly structured program is offered in the modular format designed specifically for non-traditional adult students.
