East Carolina University

Established in the spring of 1907 as a public school, East Carolina University is a research focused University. Situated in Greenville, N.C., the school enrolls over 20,000 undergraduates and 5,000 graduate students, and has rapidly expanded its campus in recent years to accommodate a growing student body.

Originally a teacher’s educational institution, East Carolina has evolved to offer more than 100 degrees with a strong focus on Teacher Education, Health Care and Nursing, Business Administration and Performing Arts, including Music Performance, Drama and Theater. The school also features a number of professional schools such as their Brody School of Medicine as well as the School of Nursing.

The school plans to open a new Dental School as well as a new Recreation Complex with their successful NCAA athletics program. The school also has well regarded Colleges of Health and Human Performance, Communication, Computer Science and Human Ecology.
