Cedarville University

Cedarville University, located in Cedarville in the state of Ohio, is a private, coeducational university chartered in 1887 by the Presbyterian Church.

The university is organized into the School of Biblical and Theological Studies, the School of Humanities, the School of Natural and Applied Sciences, and the School of Social Science and Human Performance through which it offers more than one hundred ten programs of study, including more than seventy undergraduate degrees in liberal arts, sciences, and theological studies such as Education, Environmental Biology, Journalism, Medical Technology, Pharmacy and Music Composition. Cedarville University also offers forty minors including a required minor in Bible study.

Known for its conservative theology, Cedarville’s faculty is composed of more than 200 full-time and 70 adjunct professors who integrate a Christian worldview into their disciplinary teachings.

It has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students coming nearly all the 50 states and 13 foreign countries. Student to faculty ratio is 14:1 with an average class size of 20 students.

Aside from academics, it maintains more than 100 Christian ministry and missions teams and 70 student clubs and organizations.

Full-time undergraduate tuiton is nearly $21,000 per year, excluding room and board expenses of around $4,900, book fees of $900 and miscellaneous charges amounting to around $1,450.

Cedarville University, a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, is chartered by the state of Ohio and certified by the Ohio Board of Regents.

The U.S. News and World Report has ranked Cedarville University as one of the top universities in the Midwest.
