Heidelberg College
Heidelberg College is a private liberal arts college located in Tiffin, Ohio. Founded in 1850 by the German Reformed Church, the college is affiliated today with the United Church of Christ. Heidelberg College was initially established to give the German immigrants a place to go for their higher education.
Today, Heidelberg College offers 36 undergraduate courses, 16 minors, and 13 pre-professional programs. With a student to faculty ratio of 13 to 1, students are assured that their professor is focused on giving them the quality education that they expect from the college.
Heidelberg College also maintains a graduate program and offers a Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Counseling, Master of Business Administration and Master of Music Education.
Students of the college take part in a seminar on their first year designed to put them in the proper frame of mind and focus. All in all, Heidelberg’s degree programs provide a strong liberal arts background coupled with practical learnings that equip the students to deal with the challenges of the outside world.
Cost of attendance at Heidelberg College is US$31,416 for full-time undergraduate students. This includes tuition and fee of US$22,242, room and board at US$8,636 and technology fee of US$538. It does not include the charges for insurance, books and personal travel. All in all, these additional costs total around US$3,600. To help students settle their education costs, Heidelberg extends financial aid via loans, grants and scholarships.
