University of Cincinnati

With a deep tradition dating back to 1819, the University of Cincinnati is a public school based on a 500 acre campus in down town Cincinnati.

As a large research school, the University enrolls over 30,000 students each year across its more than 500 degree programs ranging from associates to doctoral degrees. With recognition from the Carnegie Foundation, UC has earned a wide reputation as a leading research institution in engineering, science and the arts.

The school is known widely for its Bear Cats NCAA athletics program, which competes in the Big East conference. Additionally, the school, has a long standing academic tradition from its McMicken College of Arts and Sciences to its widely regarded College of Business, a nationally ranked Conservatory of Music, College of Design, Architecture Art and Planning along with programs in Engineering and Nursing. Its College of Law and Medicine are top rated in their respective areas, along with the school’s Institute for Policy Research.
