A growing medical college, the Chamberlain College of Nursing is part of the larger DeVry Distance Learning University. Based in St. Louis, the College offers associates and bachelor’s degrees of Science in Nursing (with ASN degrees available only in Columbia and standard BSN degrees.)

Marking an evolution in the school, it was re-named from the previous Deaconess College of Nursing, which dates back to 1889, and has opened two additional location in recent years – one in Columbus, Ohio, another in Chicago and a campus in Phoenix. Offering specialized medical education, the school focuses entirely upon nursing. Integrating with local hospitals and clinics, students can earn credits from work experience and are trained in the latest technology.
