About UMassOnline
The University of Massachusetts Online, or UMassOnline, has been a leader in distance education for over 30 years.
You can participate in your course from your home, office, or traveling, while still having the same access to the excellence of UMass professors/instructors as do on-campus students. UMassOnline courses are taught by the same world class faculty that teach on-campus, and courses include exercises, projects, and collaborative assignments.
Accreditation
UMassOnline is regionally accredited by NEASC, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (209 Burlington Road, Bedford, Massachusetts 01730-1433; 781-271-0022). In addition, many of each campus’ schools and colleges are also accredited by discipline-specific agencies.
